(39) Strawberry
Convenience Mix of Rose, Poppy and Sunflower.
Modern organic pigments known as Deep Red Rose, Brilliant Cad Red and Gamboge are used.
This is a nice red with an orange leaning to it. Great for painting summer Strawberries or a ripening tomato. This mix of three colors is best used alone or tweaked with the Foundation colors used to create it (Rose, Poppy or Sunflower) to achieve a wonderful array of ripening fruit.
If you choose to mix Strawberry with other colors you may create a variety of supportive muted hues and browns. Not recommended for use as a "Primary Red" for limited palettes (Try Rose or Fuchsia instead).
All pigments and ox gall used are sourced from AP certified manufacturers. Honey, arabic gum and clove oil used in mulling these handmade paints are of the finest quality (food and therapeutic grade). The final product is non-toxic, transparent, lightfast (levels 1-2), artist quality and inter-mixable. Made in the USA.
